Open Banking Consent

How AuditsPro clients view, manage, and withdraw bank-feed consent for trust account audit work.

Last updated: 3 June 2026
When bank feeds are used

AuditsPro uses Basiq-powered Open Banking only where a client chooses to connect a bank feed for a trust account audit engagement. The connection provides read-only bank account and transaction data for the audit period.

The bank-feed data helps our audit team verify transactions, support reconciliations, and review trust account activity. AuditsPro never asks for or stores your bank login password.

Where to manage consent

Active and inactive bank connections can be viewed in the secure client portal. The consent dashboard is available after login at /dashboard/manage-consent.

Manage consent in portal
How to withdraw access
  1. Sign in to the client portal: Use your AuditsPro client portal login to open the secure consent dashboard.
  2. Review connected banks: See active and inactive bank connections, linked institution names, account counts, sync dates, and withdrawal status.
  3. Withdraw access when needed: Use the withdraw action on an active connection, or contact AuditsPro if you need help with a consent request.
Data use boundaries
  • Trust account audit evidence and audit-period transaction review
  • Reconciliation support for the trust account being audited
  • Read-only bank-feed data collection through Basiq-powered Open Banking
  • No direct marketing, profiling, resale, or unrelated analytics use
After withdrawal

Withdrawing a bank connection stops future local collection from that connection. Operational bank-feed data is deleted or minimised where it is no longer required.

Some audit evidence may need to be retained where Australian law, professional obligations, dispute resolution, or an active audit file requires it. In those cases, retained evidence is limited to the audit purpose and handled under AuditsPro access controls.

Important consent note

This page explains how AuditsPro clients manage bank-feed consent. It does not replace the consent screens shown during the Basiq-powered bank connection process, and it is not legal advice.
